Yes, you can cancel ScanSoft OmniPage by going to the Control Panel in Windows, selecting "Programs and Features" (or "Add or Remove Programs" depending on your Windows version), locating ScanSoft OmniPage in the list of installed programs, and selecting the option to uninstall or remove it. This should remove the program from your system as a relict of the old Canon F4200 scanner.
My Omnipage is not working any longer. It came with my Canon 4100 Imageclass printer all in one. I need it to scan again.

This version of OmniPage is not available anymore which means you have two choices. You can either re-install the product from the Support CD for Canon 4100 or buy a new and improved version of the software from the official website. It will cost you 150 $, but it offers additional features adapted to meet the customer needs in 2014.
I have a CD with Scansoft Omnipage that works perfectly in Windows XP. Can I use it on Windows 8.1?

Yes, the application works in Windows 8.1 but you will need to acquire the latest version of the software. According to the official website, the software is compatible with the following system requirements: Windows 8 32-bit or 64-bit Editions, Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit Editions, Windows Vista 32-bit or 64-bit Editions with Service Pack 2, Windows XP 32-bit Edition with Service Pack 3. For more information, access the official website of the product. Omnipage has reached version 18. I believe you will need to upgrade your version in order to use it for Windows 8.1.

In order to recover the registration number for your product, you need to contact the Support team. You can get in touch with them using (770) 702-6014 or (800) 654-1187 phone numbers. Also, you can use the form from the official website.
I have an .opd file and I need to go through the entire document and change all of the page numbers, (which were saved individually from images to text). This is for a blind student. I want to find an easier way to do this than going through each page individually and re-saving each one. When I re-save it is re-editing the text on the page and it is taking a very long time. Is there a way to recognize all of the images selected and then just re-save the entire document?

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an easier solution to change the page numbers. You will need to edit them individually. I recommend you contact Nuance for further information. You can get in touch with them using 1-800-327-0183 phone number or the contact information from the official web page.
